Sorry this is a couple days late, but here are Friday's Praise and Prayers for the week...
PRAISE: "M" has been struggling with Math this week, in particular with Place Value, and I asked a few of you to pray for him in this area and on Friday, he took his math test and only missed one out of the whole test!! PRAISE THE LORD!! :)
PRAYER: Please continue to remember "M" as he still has some struggles with math and as he is learning new things and pray for wisdom for his teachers and for us to figure out the best way to teach him as we work together as a team.
PRAISE: "J" participated in his first Quiz meet with JBQ on Saturday and he did very well and in fact, he quizzed out once, which means that if you get so many answers correctly on a meet then you "quiz out" which means you sit out and let others on your team answer for the rest of that quiz. He did awesome! PRAISE THE LORD!! :)
PRAYER: Please pray for "J" and his pessimistic and perfectionist attitude. He did very well on Saturday at the quiz meet but he kept focusing on what he did wrong instead of what he did great on so please pray that he could be more optimistic and not so hard on himself.
PRAISE: My urinary tract infection which I had last week is gone and I am finally off my antibiotics and feeling much better! I was finally able to start exercising again! PRAISE THE LORD!! :)
PRAYER: Please remember in prayer those that are suffering healthwise... in particular, our good friend, Bill, who will be having knee surgery tomorrow and our friend, Jami, who has a sinus infection and an ear infection. Please also remember a man by the name of Sam who was a contestant on Biggest Loser a couple seasons ago. He fell about a week ago off a tall building and is in now in ICU with several things wrong with his body and has a long road of recovery ahead.
